Big Scary Monsters is pleased to announce that Grown Ups (Chicago, IL / Furnessville, IN) has finished recording its debut full-length, More Songs, with producer Matt Allison ( Lawrence Arms, Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake, Rise Against ). The ten track effort will see May 18th US / UK release date from the transcontinental label.

Featuring six brand new songs and four re-recorded / reworked tracks from the 2009 EP, Songs, The aptly titled More Songs will be available from Big Scary Monsters on both vinyl and CD formats. The 12" pressing stats are still being sorted, but there will be 300 hand-screened CDs on three different colors, split evenly between US and UK territories and the band. Stay tuned for pre-order details in April.

Grown Ups is currently streaming two brand new songs, "Weed Science" and "Pears," at their Myspace page. Additionally, the band has teamed up with If You Make It to give away a digital copy of the previously mentioned EP, Songs. To download free of charge, go here.

Finally, as a precursor to what will be a year of heavy touring, Grown Ups has booked a 10-day East Coast tour in April with 1994! and will be playing shows with My Heart To Joy, Snowing and Algernon Cadwallader as well.
